Casey Jay Andrews is a multi-award winning writer, designer and theatre-maker based in the South East of England

(though my heart is planted firmly in Edinburgh's Old Town).

I have worked with PUNCHDRUNK and PUNCHDRUNK ENRICHMENT since 2020, I'm the Designer of PUNCHDRUNK's VIOLA'S ROOM, and I am an Associate Artist of PUNCHDRUNK ENRICHMENT. Previous roles include Senior Designer at PUNCHDRUNK ENRICHMENT and Assistant Head of Design on PUNCHDRUNK's THE BURNT CITY.

As a Writer I won a Fringe First Award for my play THE ARCHIVE OF EDUCATED HEARTS at the 2018 Edinburgh Festival Fringe. It had its North American debut in December 2019 at The Soho Playhouse New York, the same theatre where Phoebe Waller-Bridge's "Fleabag" and Hannah Gadsby's "Nanette" debuted in NYC.

My newest project, FEAST OF WORDS, is a supper club that pairs stories and music with a bespoke tasting menu. It will be playing at the Adelaide Fringe Festival during February and March 2026, alongside returning show: THE WILD UNFEELING WORLD, a tender furious and fragile reimagining of Moby Dick set on the banks of the River Thames. Other plays include A PLACE THAT BELONGS TO MONSTERS (winner of the 2023 Adelaide Fringe overall Best Theatre Award), and OH MY HEART, OH MY HOME.

As a Designer I have an eclectic design background ranging from large scale immersive theatre design, to mural painting and carved wooden puppets. I have a particular interest in intimate narrative led installations; these have provided a home for many of my writing and storytelling projects. I am passionate about accessibility and I consider this as an essential part of my design process.

I have previously designed for FRANCESCA MOODY PRODUCTIONSIMOGEN HEAP, BT SPORT, SHOTGUN CAROUSEL, RABBLE THEATRE and THE IMMERSIVE GREAT GATSBY in London, New York and Seoul.
